   Food was mediocre at best. Prices for lobster were astronomical and that’s really the only reason I went there overall an average experience not worth the money.

   Entertaining out of town family members visiting from Alaska and my first thought was to bring them to Hemenway's for lunch ! Our visitors had never had a lobster roll and we were thrilled that both styles of lobster rolls were being served. We cut them up and made sure everyone had a bite of each. Outstanding! Love the new renovations to the dining room! As requested in our reservation, we were seated at a very comfortable windowside table. Gorgeous view! Service was impeccable as usual. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

   Linch for four, two parents, a son and an uncle Sublime food. New England clam chowder is the best. I had tuna tartare which was so good Bacon wrapped scallops also excellent Main course also wonderful, salad lobster roll was excellent, my son (23) tells me the burger was extremely good

   So happy Hemenway’s has reopened! We missed it! Another scrumptious seafood extravaganza was just what we were craving- and it was fabulous! The raw bar seafood platter with tender clams, succulent oysters, plump fresh shrimp and a perfectly divine lobster all were exceptional. We also shared the wedge salad and a special tuna avacado poke bowl with crisp tortilla chips and pickled radish. Yummm! Our waitress Theresa was pleasant and friendly- very informative and cheery but never over bearing. Just delightful! We enjoyed meeting and chatting with her as much as we did our outstanding meal.

   Both the food and service were excellent. Our table was sprinkled with red rose petals in recognition of the fact that the occasion was our anniversary. We have our Hemenway’s on our must return list of restaurants.

   Scallops wrapped and bacon were a great start. Wedge salad was beautiful and I loved the pickled red onion - a very tasty twist. A little light on the bacon - but that’s the good morning only thing I can say negatively. Now for the star - seafood casserole was to die for! One of - if not the best meals I have ever had! Most definitely the best so far this year. It is in competition for “ last meal ever” award !!! Fantastic evening- can’t wait to go back

   Our sever made the day!! The food is always outstanding and service is amazing!! Enjoyed a super fun and delicious experience! We always come here to have a great time with awesome food and it never disappoints!

    We went to celebrate our engagement and were surprised with flower petals on the table and congratulations from our host and our server, Jon. Even on a busy night, Jon was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided wonderful recommendations. Our food was absolutely delicious and we can't wait to go back! There's a reason Hemenway's has been in business for over 40 years and is one of our favorite restaurants to go to on a night out. Everything from food, to service, to ambience was absolutely phenomenal
