Le Hermitage Rd Bar & Restaurant propose une des meilleures options de restauration décontractée de la rue principale, des magnifiques environs de la ''vieille salle de bal Hermitage'', au style de loft newyorkais réduit à l'essentiel. Ce restaurant a obtenu les prix de gérant de bar de la Meilleure Nourriture en 2013 et 2014, ainsi que le prix de ''Bib Gourmand'' du Guide Michelin en 2013 et 2014. Sa cuisine ouverte à l'américaine sert des plats britanniques dans une atmosphère animée. Cet établissement possède un restaurant pouvant servir jusqu'à 150 couverts, un bar de 80 places ainsi qu'un café spécialisé au rez-de-chaussée ouvert toute la journée.

Overall a great experience. Great choice of food for different budgets. Service was great. Venue is beautiful. Drinks at the bar a bit pricey. Food - all lovely. Think I’d opt for the set lunch menu for value and quality next time. Very well looked after for a special birthday celebration.

Super nice design - very eye-catching. Our server was delightful. We went on a Sunday and I made the wrong choice. If we had been there at lunch, the pork loin would have probably been great. We went for dinner and… it was dry. Judging by how fast our meals came out, I think the pork had just been around for a while...like the Yorkshire pudding which was oddly dry/crispy. My sister’s roast beef by contrast was very good. My only other comment is re the signature cocktails which all seemed to obscure or distract from the starring spirit. Mezcal with thyme (didn’t try) and a bourbon-based cocktail (did have, didn’t finish) that was orange juice intensive.

I had been there for some time but you could feel right from the start that there was a new team in place. The food was very good and creative, served well and with good portions. The staff were very well trained on all aspects of service, which makes a change these days. We had a lovely time and we look forward to going there again.

Didn’t have one member of staff serving us. Left for long periods of time. Asked for water 3 times before it came

A fab evening meal! Set menu is very reasonable, and the food was great, in particular the Korean chicken starter was outstanding. Brilliant atmosphere and lovely decor, if a little on the louder side. Would definitely recommend!

An end of the month Friday lunch. The food is consistently very good and represents good value for money. Good drinks menu and they are happy to cater for orders off menu. Service attentive, but discreet. Not as busy as it has been, but not a criticism. Overall a very good lunch.

We were a table of 4 work colleagues who are soon to leave our place of work, two of us are retiring. So this lunch was important to us and we couldn't have picked a lovelier place to eat and be looked after by such warm, amusing and caring staff. Our food was delicious and served perfectly. Thank you. We will be back!!

Good night and good food, only thing that stood out was garlic butter and Broccoli was cold but I accepted it as I am used to eating chilled food
