   Our first time here. We are from out of town, though very familiar with Austin. Hillside was near our AirBnB. We went on a Sunday night. We started with shrimp cocktail. The cocktail sauce was some of the best and I have eaten it at many places. Good anount if seasoning and horseradish. My husband did the $25 steak dinner, which was NY Strip, with sides. I had the crab cake appetizer for my meal. Both were delicious. I had the Strawberry vodka cocktail, which was the perfect amount of tart and sweet. Very refreshing. We will definitely be back on a future trip to Austin.

   Ernestina was a wonderful host and our food was delicious! This is one of my favorite spots and and I always get lucky enough to sit in the teal booth room 💙

   This had alot of positives and some negatives that need attention. What are they doing to make that ceasar dressing so different, it tasted off. So did the mashed potatoes. The steak was great and so was the chocolate torte. We enjoyed the parisian, cafe like outdoor seating, but not dining with the fly problem. Overall for the money a few too many issues to condone going back at this point, unfortunately seems like such great things going on here!!!

   Food and drinks were fresh and unique. Food came all at once and could not fit on the smallest of tables. So nice of the staff to accomodate a special surprise from our daughters who called in a request. We highly recommend this experience for any occasion. Thank you!

   My partner and I have dined at Hillside Farmacy many times and unfortunately something behind the scenes has drastically changed. The food was incredibly underwhelming (kale salad was no longer massaged and chopped but just HUGE chunks of barely edible kale, the salmon was undercooked, our 3 year olds mac and cheese took almost an hour to come out, etc) but made worse by the staff being generally rude and standoffish about mistakes they made. Then when there was an error in billing (charged twice for a side dish that took an hour to show up in the first place) - the host tried to refute it as if we were trying to pull a fast one. It was unacceptable behavior at a restaurant where you're spending north of $350 for a table of 6 to eat (that is without booze btw). I hope they get it back together but sadly we probably won't be giving it another chance for quite some time.

   I love this place, it’s one of my favorites. The staff is amazing, the food is of the highest quality and their drink menu and specials are amazing! I will be back time and time again.
