Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the historic Homer Building and new Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district. Classic comfort cooking takes centre stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus. A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. The restaurant features two spaces that consist of an open concept kitchen “Chef’s Bar” where one can get up close and personal with the culinary team, a private dining room with reclaimed factory windows, and bespoke seating complemented by antique tiling.

Loved the brunch here, that's why went for dinner. Roasted cauliflower was a joke. No flavor or roast effect. It seems like semi boiled. Ordered half chicken was again flavorless. Food quality was below average.

We had a great time here! Steph was our server and she was amazing!! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She helped us with all our questions and was super attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. It’s clear why it’s such a popular place!

Very cute restaurant. We arrive right when it opened and there were people already waiting to go in. Our waiter was awesome. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name. Food came out very timely and perfect temperature. Everything was delicious. Would highly recommend at least one breakfast here on a trip to Vancouver.

Homer Street Cafe exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a nice quiet brunch spot where we can celebrate our successes of 2024. Our waitress was professional and a spot on. The food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. Everyone in our party was extremely pleased as this was all of our first time visiting this restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Homer Street Café & Bar. We sat at the counter and had an amazing view of some wonderful chefs creating delicious food. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed three small plate items (tapas) and everything was cooked to perfection and served hot. Loved the wine as well. We will definitely be back when visiting Vancouver again and will recommend to friends visiting as well. Happy New Year!

The food never misses here - always delicious and the restaurant is gorgeous. Only complaint is the noise - it's a restaurant, people want to catch up and chat without having to shout over the music

We were out to dinner with our 2 adult girls before heading to the cirque show. The service was outstanding. I found the music way too loud. We had to yell at each other to converse. Food was good as well however, the size of the appy's and dinner course orders was on the small side. Thinking just not the value we expected for the $$ we spent. But as I mentioned, service was great so we still tipped over 25 %. Also, thinking the kitchen (Chef, cooks & helpers) could find another way besides yelling to inform the servers their orders were up. Just not classy. But again, just my take. Thanks P
