For a premier dining experience in the seaside village of Kailua-Kona, visit Honu’s on the Beach. Honu's on the Beach offers a delicious Hawaiian-style daily buffet breakfast and Kona's famous (and only) Sunday brunch - offering all you can eat sweet snow crab, eggs benedict, etc. Don't miss the make-your-own bloody Mary bar or the bottomless mimosas! Enjoy dining on the spacious lanai with amazing views of historic village of Kailua-Kona. Choose from a tasty a la carte menu or indulge in the breakfast buffet, featuring made-to-order omelets, fresh fruit, pancakes, breakfast meats, and much more.

Saturday night features the popular Prime Rib & Seafood Buffet including all you can eat snow crab, poke, seafood delicacies, and of course, gorgeous prime rib. The full bar offers craft cocktails using private label rum.

Honu's also offers a private dining room for parties and celebrations for up to 80 of your friends and family.

The Sunday brunch was absolutely not worth it. Not a big selection and only good things were brisket, fresh omelette and pastry’s.

No clear check in process. Hostess took us to our table and left. Sat and waited for a server to come. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to just go get our food from the buffet or wait. Finally a server came. When asked if he was assigned to our table he seemed to be lost. Then we asked if we should go to get our food or wait for information he said to go get our food. We asked if they had a wine list? What other drinks did they offer, then went to get a drink menu. Prices were a little excessive compared to other places we’ve been to in Hawaii. They served crab legs but didn’t have crackers to break the shells. Will probably not return to this buffet.

Website posts Friday n Saturday seafood buffet so booked for four thinking valentines dinner would be buffet. It was a special set menu for dinner. Food was good n menu was good selection for main dish. Because it was busy, server brought main dish while we were still eating salad so they set main dishes aside in the back. Got dinner but everything was cold. Did not ask to be changed because we would have had to wait longer for them to fe-order. Manager was nice enough to give us a discount for excellent but cold food

Delightful experience and our waitress Annie made it great Valentine's dinner also for our 40th Anniversary. I wanted a romantic setting and a tasty dinner, and we were quite pleased!

special Valentines dinner so soup salad was the same for everyone, choice between three entrées. All were served not hot, but warm. Sort of a mass serving instead of individually prepared. May have been sitting under a warmer for a while. No choice on how the prime rib was served- it came out medium so slightly overcooked. Could not choose a table other than one they sat us at which was in the bright sun even though many empty tables at the time of our reservation. Felt like a rush service instead of relaxed atmosphere. Usually like after dinner coffee but wait staff didn’t bother to ethos everything was.

All you can eat yummy top quality prime ribs and snow crabs. What’s not to like! Also they had sashimi, poke, baked fish and shrimp tempura for entrees. All very good. Service was excellent too. I love the ice cream bar for dessert. If you like more variety, this may not be for you. Their selection is limited but all very excellent food that were provided. Definitely worth it.

Have eaten at Honu's several times, The Sunday brunch was good but there was alot of food missing in which they use to have. I was alittle disappointant

Food was horrible. The quality, taste and presentation was not up to standard for a name such as King Kamehameha. Pricing was outrageous for a below par buffet with no senior discount.

Went got Sunday brunch. The service was good. The brunch selection was limited. We went for the crab legs and we were disappointed - I’ve never had snow crab jerky until this visit here; they were extremely dry and overcooked.
