As usual, with all Cameron Mitchell restaurants, the food was good and the service was great. We know that Cameron has the motto of "what's your question – – the answer is yes". I think that, although the bartender tried to fill our request, it just didn't work. We are of the age where people drank Brandy Alexanders, grasshoppers, and pink ladies. We asked for Brandy Alexander and they tried and they failed, but we appreciate the trying and recommend the bartender go to The Top and have one! Plus there was no brandy and they had to use B&B. Definitely not worth $15.

We saw a few seats at the bar and sat down instead of waiting for our table to be ready. As always, we had a great meal. Cant beat a daisy! The French dip is so good. See you next time!

Food wonderful as always, service was just average which was different than past experiences when service was always excellent, and some of the changes to the appetizers and the cost for different meals makes the value just fair. Still a nice night but as the prices continue to rise here it is harder to justify the value versus other restaurant options. Thanks

First, we (2 people) were seated right at an entrance way, in front of the patio. So we asked to move. We were moved to the middle of the next room again with people walking around us. My chair was bumped into twice that evening and the table behind us were so loud, we could barely hear each other. I asked the hostess as soon as I saw the new table if we could have a booth so there were less traffic around. We just wanted to dine peacefully and not be in a way of people. The hostess (a man) said all the booths were reserved. 2 minutes later, 2 ladies sat at the next table and asked to be moved to a booth. He said yes to them. I am very unhappy to have been lied too. Our experience was not the one expected when you spend over $100. The food, our server were fine but our sitting was mediocre at best and the fact that a hostess can blatantly lie in your face is more than troubling.

We ordered a round of drinks and some apps just around 4:45pm. Just my wife and I and a good friend (3 top). Waiter disappeared while we waited and waited quite a long time to order another round and more apps. Waited at least 30 minutes with no sign of him - literally nowhere. Wondered if he left. Finally asked another waiter to get him for us. I would think that the owners of this restaurant would want their waiters to sell more rounds of drinks (and apps). Not only was the service poor but not good financially for the restaurant. Had 5 apps and 6 drinks - $245 with tip for poor service (still 20% which I shouldn’t have done). I don’t mind spending money for good food and service but this guy just ruined our happy hour. This restaurant needs to provide more training if they want to keep customers - where was the manager?

Food portion for soup and salad was small. Pre-made quiche and omelette choices were not good and server offered no modifications. First time experience for most of the group would not cause them to return. Asked a server to take a picture and she declined because she was busy cashing out a check. Not a positive service experience for Sunday brunch.

Hudson 29 is our go to. But, they aren’t as focused on the customer as much as they once were. Business is too good. Few options in New Albany so always busy. They have become complacent. But not Brittany the server. She was the bright spot. Small, expensive pours…non complimentary menu options…smaller portions and higher prices. A good recession will knock some sense into this company.
