Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House opened its doors in February 1997 in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, next to sister restaurant Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse. Over 20 years after owners Hugo Ralli and Steve Lombardo set out to open the city's finest seafood restaurant, Hugo's continues to be the destination for premier east and west coast oysters, crudos, frog legs, lobster and seasonal fish and shellfish, in addition to Gibsons Prime Angus and Gibsons Grassfed Australian steaks. Even with the stress of Christmas dinner service, the team at Hugo's delivered a great meal and in a timely manner. The wait staff was great and the food was great. Everyone was is a good holiday mood. Forget that this Hugo's is located inside Rivers Casino, once you're seated you'll not hear the jingling of slot machines. Highly recommended!

With it being Christmas Eve the service was excellent (John was an excellent waiter very attentive and polite), the food delicious, while dimly lit the atmosphere was perfect. It is expensive but for a special night worth it.

Amazing and delicious!! Great crab and avocado appetizer! Cocktails and the filet perfection! The hash browns were so delicious I had to order a second one to take home!! Our server Townsend was top notch!

It was a fantastic birthday dinner from start to finish! The wine, appetizers, steaks cooked to perfection and generous portions of all side dishes. A delicious complimentary dessert was such a lovely ending to a perfect evening. My daughter was extremely happy! I would highly recommend it for special occasions or any evening feel like treating yourself.
