              We love going to Hula Grill when we visit Maui, and this might have been our best experience yet! We had an outside table located right at the edge of the grass. It was a beautiful night and truly a treat. As always, the meal was fabulous with great quality and very nice presentation. Service was on point with attention to detail. I have a gluten allergy and I had lots of great options. Also, their menu is marked with allergy symbols which I always appreciate! We’ll look forward to our next visit!

              There are not a ton of vegetarian options but the roasted vegetable dip was delicious. Also the hula pie is to die for! Love the atmosphere and the staff was great.

              We were excited to dine at Hula Grill but left feeling disappointed due to a lack of clarity about their two distinct dining areas. When making our reservation, we didn’t realize that the restaurant and bar have completely separate menus. While waiting for our table, we saw delicious-looking dishes…(burgers & fish tacos) being served at the bar, only to find out after being seated in the restaurant that those items weren’t available to us. Additionally, our wait time was about 30 minutes beyond our reservation, which only added to our anticipation for the food we had seen passing by. Unfortunately, our drinks didn’t taste as expected based on their descriptions, and our meal itself felt like an odd combination of flavors because we weren’t really into the restaurant menu. We ordered starters and side dishes to piece together what seemed appealing. We liked the focaccia bread! Our server offered to let us move but after waiting so long already we were too hungry to wait again. Had we known in advance about the separate menus, we would have chosen to wait for a seat at the bar instead. If you plan to visit, be sure to clarify where you’re dining to avoid the same surprise.

              Wonderful restaurant! We loved the atmosphere and vibe of the place. Great tasting food and friendly staff made the experience even better. I would go out of my way to return sometime again.
