   A great place for a relaxing lunch with views of the ocean and diamond head. Food did not disappoint and waitress was available but not rushing us at all. Look forward to going again.

   Our waiter was good, thank you. Unfortunately staff at the reception area where we checked in were very unwelcoming and didn't take the time to say hi and welcome or even goodbye when we left. Totally different to all of our previous experiences at Hula Grill. The food was good and table with a view was great. The 2-3 staff at the entry point and 1 staff member at the exit point area were very average to the point we nearly turned around to eat elsewhere. No Mahalo from us this time.

   The ginger pesto dinner was very lacking, full of oil, ginger and pesto were miniscule, fish was good, very overpriced. The music was way too loud, could not hear to talk . Did not have dessert due to the noise

   Great food and service. The negative was that my wife cannot eat crab or lobster. The waiter said most of the menu was fried and they could not accommodate a person with a food allergy. Crab and lobster was being used in the same fryer as everything else. Menu is very limited to somebody with a food allergy.

    We dined here twice by accident I am glad we did. The first time I had a two fish special which was swordfish and another fish. Decent portion size but the swordfish was cut very thin and it was overcooked and dry-I should have sent it back but didn't The second meal I ordered the same thing but a different second fish. The swordfish this time was a decent size still cut thin vs a steak size but it was cooked properly and tender. There were 8 of us and everyone was very satisfied with their meals. Someone ordered the chicken meal and it looks like he got a whole chicken-not really-but it was a very large serving. The risotto was excellent along with great service.
