   Sat outside on a beautiful Saturday night. Our waitress was not very attentive to us at all. The food was just ok. I had chicken Parm. The dinner was mediocre. I’ve had better chicken parm at a local pizza joint. My wife ordered the grouper special. The fish was prepared with too much salt and she left over most of it. If this is a special then why wasn’t it special? We asked for cappuccino and coffee. The waitress came back with the check with the coffee and cappuccino already added in. We waited 10 more minutes for the coffee and cappuccino to show up. We were not asked if we wanted to look at a dessert menu. I’ve never been handed a check before my coffee even showed up. The restaurant is just ok. The location is good but if they would pay more attention to training the wait staff a little better, this review would reflect a better experience. Better restaurants to go to in this area. Consider them before this one

   Because it's the season in WPB and a reservation is a good idea, we booked a table thru Open Table. We have been to the 4 or 5 restaurants that serve Italian or pizza in the 4 blocks nearby many times but wanted to try a different one. I then noticed their website said they didn't take reservations on weekends. I called, was told no they didn't take reservations; after some give and take, the girl on the phone put me on hold, came back and said I could make a reservation. I told her I had, thru Open Table. She then asked my name, and said the reservation had just come in. We arrived at our reservation time, checked in with one of the teenagers doing check ins and she asked inside or outside? I said outside (we could see several empty 2 and 4 seat tables), she said great, she'd check. We stepped back and watched for 10 minutes while no one did anything. After 15 minutes, I asked a second teenager about our reservation. She said she'd check, went outside, and hurried back with a look on her face. After 25 minutes, another hostess told us we could wait for an outside table, or eat inside right away. There were, at this point, at least two outside tables for 4 cleaned and with no one at them. After more give and take about not reserving outside tables (and the hostess was the one who asked us if we wanted outside) we chose inside, got taken to a table for 4 in the back in front of the kitchen (noisy, but when you're hungry) which hadn't been cleaned. She took us to a pillar in the middle of the place, and asked us to wait while the table was cleaned, so we stood there, among the tables, several of which were empty, and were finally taken to our table, which was a four person table. We basically waited almost 30 minutes for our reserved table, when there were very visible tables available earlier. The food was good, the server very good, but there are better places nearby.

   Everything was excellent but as usual noise level tough to have a conversation. Difficulties with that in 8 of 10 restaurants lately

   The tilapia was mushy, yuck and taste less. Shrimp small. Pasta was just OK and sauce bland. Sorry didn’t like the food but ambiance was nice and service great.

   The food was delicious-- I had the shrimp/pea/goat cheese risotto and the eggplant appetizer; my friend had the linguini with clams. The outdoor setting was very pleasant. The service was friendly and attentive. My only criticism is that it took a bit too long for the food to arrive, requiring us to jog to get to a performance at the Kravis Center.

    The food was wonderful but they seated a party with screaming children near us. We and two other tables (17 people!) were moved into a private room — Instead of removing the kids to the outside. We should at least have been comped a glass of wine or dessert or something. X
