   We ordered a salad to split, pasta, and a pizza. It was the perfect amount for 2 people to share. The food was flavorful and cooked to perfection.

   An excellent, and well crafted menu. Very high quality at affordable prices. Servers are responsive and knowledgeable. Everyone is well trained and professional. A beautiful spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

   In Riva is an East Falls institution. Solid offerings, great service, friendly casual atmosphere. We tried the short rib gnocchi tonight for the first time and it was delicious. Can't wait for patio season!

   It was amazing. I took my mom there for her birthday and the food was delicious. Everything was made quick and our waiter was great. I wish they had more waiters though because our waiter was alone I believe which kept him away for long periods of time. It was still so amazing and delicious. My mom enjoyed the food so much she didn’t want to leave. Haha!

   Upon arrival, no one was at the host stand. The restaurant was not busy. No one else was waiting, and there was nowhere to sit to wait. My friend and I stood there for about five minutes until I decided to call the restaurant since I saw the phone sitting on the host desk because I figured someone would have to come out and pick up the phone. The bartender eventually picked up the phone. I waved at him and said hey, we’ve been standing here for a while. Can someone come seat us? About a minute later someone came to seat us, our waiter, and I guess he was the host as well. That set the tone for the rest of the night because honestly service was slow even up into the end when my friend had to eventually get up and give his credit card to the host/our waiter. It seemed like they were either shortstaffed or overwhelmed with the big party sitting next to us. The food was delicious, but I probably would only order takeout. It’s very dark, we used the lights on our phones to look at the menu, other people dining did the same.

   The bartender and cocktails upstairs at The Nook were excellent. My service rating is low only because of the FOH downstairs at In Riva who were clueless and kind of rude. Beware that if you make a reservation online for “bar” they’ll decide for you if that’s in the main bar or upstairs at the Nook.

   To start it off the place is esthetically pleasing. We sat down and waited some time to get my order taken. The menu is very limited which isn’t an issue. The issue was that it was 30 degrees and the place had no heat on. On top of that the pizza had zero to no flavor. My Coca Cola had more flavor than my food.

    Server could have checked up on us a bit more, but overall we enjoyed our experience!
