    For the price point, and considering the high bar set by high end NYC restaurants, this sadly fell far short on ambience, service and food quality. In our 7 days and 7 nights of dining in NYC this past week, with a great variety of cuisines and price points, this was the most disappointing on all levels.

    I have been here quite a few times and this was the first time I felt a different vibe like some of the magic of this place has been sucked out of the room. Amy, the somalier, was no longer working and there were many unfamiliar faces. The food is always outstanding but this time the pace was almost offensive…too quick to try to take your order, you barely took a sip of your cocktail and they were ready to pour your wine for dinner , too quick to clear plates while someone was still enjoying their dinner, and inaudible obligatory descriptions of your food upon presentation. If I hadn’t had so many prior fantastic visits here including a birthday dinner last November hosted by a business partner to be followed by another dinner 3 days later, I am not sure I would return. Such good food should be one part of “the experience” Tonight it was just about good food and for a place this special that is just not enough.

    Always great to dine at Indian Accent. Surprised why Michelin misses them - in my mind the best Indian restaurant in the city, bar none! And consistent for many years, including during Covid takeouts!

    Incredible food. Unfortunately a miscommunication in the kitchen as I was served the wrong dish however I was lucky enough to be given a free extra dish and still eat the wrong dish that was served. Still amazing food and they even took off some money on the bill for messing up my order.
