   Great time, good food, good service Casual setting. Celebrated my daughter’s bday and it was so nice that they called me in advance so they could print her name on the menu.

   A pleasant Valentine Day experience, the selection was good, but the food was a bit saltier than usual. Otherwise, we were happy with the reservations and will continue to visit Ironside in the future.

   We came in here for lunch for a 3pm reservation. Our waitress was friendly, but did not check on us throughout service. We got overcharged for an oyster dozen, we didn’t receive the correct count. So I would count and check twice. Our table was overcrowded and we could barely hear each other because of background noise and being so close to other tables. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience. The campechana was great and on the spicy side. Our cocktails were fair. However, the oysters weren’t properly cleaned/shucked and every oyster had bits and pieces of shell. Quite awful given oysters is one of their “hot” items. This has been my 3time coming here and will be my last.

   Had an early lunch reservation for my birthday, seated on arrival. Given a cute birthday menu. Ordered a very strong & delicious Mai Tai, cup of chowder, and lobster rolls with fries. The chowder was very good, just thick enough and great flavor. The biscuit served with the chowed was still warm when it was served. The lobster roll was delicious, but the amount of lobster in the roll was skimpy compared to our previous visits to Ironside. Our server surprised me with a complimentary dessert to celebrate my birthday. My husband said he got a call prior to our reservation asking whose birthday it was and if they had any allergies. Thoughtful. Staff from the host to servers were all very welcoming.

   Came during happy hour and got me and my wife some $1 oysters, they were very fresh and delicious, i loved the vibe and the server was very friendly, we also got the chowder fries which was amazing.

   Last minute reservation at 1030pm Food and drinks came so quick and they never rushed us out. Excellent service for the last seating on a Friday night.

   This is our favorite place, but the menu has definitely changed, and it’s noticeable—the peel-and-eat shrimp are smaller, and a staple dessert, banana pudding, is gone. We were always able to get SD spiny for dinner when it was in season, but now it seems like you are not serving it even though it’s on your OpenTable menu.

   We came for Happy Hour and really enjoyed the clam chowder and oysters. I would recommend this restaurant!

    We could be seated a bit earlier than our booked reservation time, which benefitted us. Both food and service exceeded our expectations. Parking was a bit of a challenge.
