   I started off with delicious onion rings and followed by a phenomenal filet mignon. Also, the creamed corn and mashed potatoes side dishes were delicious. I would recommend J. Gilbert’s to anyone!

   This is my first time writing a review for Open Table. My wife and I eat out 2-3 times a week at many types of restaurants along the East Coast. We will go out of our way to stop at J. Gilbert’s on our travels. We will stay at a nearby hotel to eat here. This restaurant is 5-Star in all categories. There are other fine restaurant we eat at, but none hit it on the mark every time. We have been here about 12 times, and nothing out of place. We will keep coming back. Doris & Harold

   Dinner was absolutely fantastic as were the wine choices. The service was also fantastic. The servers at J. Gilbert are at a whole different level than other restaurants. They are so on top of their game and know everything about any item on the menu. And they’re willing to discuss it with you and customize anything. I think they’re happy being servers there because the food is always so excellent. They probably hardly ever hear a complaint. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   The Bone-in Ribeye is a staple, so perfectly cooked and flavorful. Truffle mushrooms complement it best and they have a very nice selection of wines to match. A 2021 Elouan Pinot Noir is a great choice. Finish the meal with their Carrot Cake it’s delicious.

    We decided to dine with J.Gilberts for our 10th Anniversary and we are beyond happy we did! From the beautifully decorated table, to the food, and to our amazing waitress!
