Le J. Gilbert's – Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood - McLean est un steakhouse chic et décontracté servant du bœuf maturé de qualité cuit sur un gril au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous pourrez y savourer différents morceaux de steak, des fruits de mer frais (notamment des gâteaux de crabe récompensés) et d'autres mets maisons comme des frites au fromage bleu Maytag et des gâteaux aux carottes. Vous apprécierez votre festin au coin du feu dans une atmosphère chaleureuse arborant du bois précieux et de la brique sous un éclairage tamisé. Great food and beverages as always. Started out with cocktails in the bar - our server Sarah was great - dinner handled by wait staffer Megan - delightful.

J. Gilbert's NEVER Disappoints!! Five of us Old Friends got together to celebrate life and it was a Great dining experience. Hostess was Very Welcoming, Drinks were perfectly made by the Bartenders and our Server provided Top Service from beginning to end.

The waitress and the atmosphere were incredible! But the food was a little underwhelming. Out of five of us none of us finished the food or took it home. The artichoke dip was really good! I don’t remember our waitress’s name but she was amazing. She was very attentive and even explained the menu in Spanish for my MIL to understand. She was probably the best part of the experience!

Service was actually too fast with little time to enjoy your drink, appetizer and meal. Food was mediocre. Steak cooked correctly but tough and tasteless. Some of the sides were lukewarm. Server and rest of staff was good.

Love our local steakhouse! We go frequently. Excellent service with great steaks and cocktails, always consistent.

Two of our dishes were cold and one was warm. The other 3 were fine. The flavor was good but it was cold. The manager did offer to make new dishes and he ultimately comped the dishes. So complements to the manager for trying. But to be objective the kitchen needs better oversight. 2 out of 5 dishes not being hot is a bad sign.
