   Lovely dinner experience Sunday night at J. Gilberts, from the drinks at the bar thru dessert everything was done right with attentive staff. I will be going back soon and recommending to others.

   Everything was absolutely amazing!! Mei Li was our server and she went above and beyond to make my bday extra special. Ask for her if you go! Will definitely be back!

   Best rack of lamb I have ever had. Delicious infused pineapple martini. J.Gilberts has a filet that is to die for. Always a fun place to celebrate a special night! Never disappoints .

Our server made great recommendations, ensuring that every dish we ordered exceeded expectations.    It had been years since we’ve been to J. Gilbert’s in Overland Park. It was an incredible experience. The food was amazing, the decor was modern and updated, and the atmosphere was incredible. They have a wide variety of choices in the menu and everything we had was delicious. They have a chicken tortilla soup as an appetizer on their pre-fixe menu, that is a unique experience unlike any other I’ve had in the past. It is so delicious and is so large, it could be a meal all by itself. The filet & crab cake entree also on the pre-fixe menu was amazing as well. The final course was desert. I had the chocolate cake, my wife had the crème brûlée. Both were the best we’ve ever had. Final summary 5 stars. *****

   Best place for steak and seafood in Kansas City. Everything from drinks, bread/butter, appetizers, starters-the best crab bisque soup, entrees-steak and salmon, and desserts all 10/10 or 5 stars. Our waiter Michael, was fabulous and had great suggestions for few individuals who asked alot of questions about the menu.
