Le J. Gilbert’s est un steakhouse chic et décontracté servant du bœuf maturé de qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite.     Great comeback! Our last two visits were very disappointing. The food quality and presentation was weak. We hoped it was two bad nights … and it was. Tonight was wonderful. Great salads, filet. Salmon, dessert. Fine service. Kudos to the GM and exec chef

    It was excellent loved the food and the service was great. I love this restaurant and this is why I come back so often

    Great ambiance, fantastic food and service! If you want great food but not the uppity attitude, this is the place. The service team is professional and yet personable and welcoming! Also has one of the best steaks in town! Will definitely be back!

    The seating was very fast no wait at all but the service wasn’t good. We waited for 15 minutes to get greeted and at least 15 minutes to finally get our drinks and our order taken. The food was very tasty and lobster entree and the wagyu burger was delicious. Perhaps change the bread it was too hard and not a fan of sourdough.

    What a great experience my wife & I had with Manny as our server tonight. He was very attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service. Our food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Next time we were in Columbus, we will be back!

    Butternut squash soup (special on the menu) tasted like a salt lick, water was never refilled, glasses on the table were dirty with visible streaks… both filets at the table were ordered to be medium rare, both showed up rare with a very blue center. Out-dated decor, sides with the steaks were served cold… bread and butter were decent as was the glass of wine. easily the worst steakhouse I’ve been to in Columbus - potentially the worst in the US.
