Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a formal main dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. At the brasserie, diners may enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. These friendly establishments are immensely popular with Alsatians and visiting them is always the best part of my trips back to Alsace. I opened Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez François to bring the tastes and comforts of the Alsatian brasserie to Great Falls.

    The Brasserie is always a nice ambience with excellent service. Danny and his team are the best in the business- everyone is so friendly and professional! Best restaurant in Northern Virginia!

    Such a fabulous place to meet friends and share a meal. The food is always delicious and well prepared with many choices. Two of my friends had liver and onions! I requested a round table for six in the Open Table app and it was ready when we arrived. Great service and great Alsatian food and wine/beer. Try it!

    For first time, it was a great experience. Soufflé was particularly outstanding. Egg Benedict and lobster omelette were great as well.

    Beef wellington was cold; nobody paid attention to me at first and my drink order took about 20 minutes. I was disappointed in paying $100 for my entree and wine.
