              We booked a 4pm table and was able to watch the sunset at 4:50pm from our table. It was magical. The drinks, food, service were outstanding. We walked on the beach after.

              Once again Jake’s turns a regular birthday into something special!!!! The food was excellent, the service was exceptional and the ambiance can not be beat!!!!! I will always put Jake’s at the top of my go to’s for ANY occasion!!!!! Thank you Jake’s!!!!!!

              I have a food allergy to onions, scallions, shallots and chives. I was there in July and ordered the Maine Diver scallops with black rice risotto which was one of the most delicious and memorable meals I’ve ever eaten. The chef had modified the risotto so I could have the dish and came out to make sure it was to my liking. This time a different chef refused to modify the risotto and offered garlic mashed potatoes in place. I can make garlic mashed potatoes myself, but can’t get black rice risotto. I traveled 2100 miles for nothing. Terrible rude manager and customer service. Will never go back there again and will recommend to my family, friends and work colleagues never to dine at Jake’s. Definitely did not make me feel like ohana (family) which is their core value in their mission statement.

              Requested a table inside with views of the ocean. Sat us outside, at a side patio area, zero views. Food was horrible, three of us ordered the surfing steak. None of us could eat the steak, couldn’t even get it chewed up. Never got a drink refill. Never was asked how the food was, even when they cleared 3 plates full of steak off the table. Don’t recommend it, at all. Food bad. Ambience bad. Service bad. Value bad. Overall, bad. Super bummed as we were celebrating our daughter’s 17th birthday, had hopes for a special evening, and it was a fail.

              Warmly greeted by the reception staff. Reservations had been confirmed the day before. Sat immediately in a Phenomenal viewing location. Our server named Becca, treated us well and set a perfect pace for appetizers, salads, and then the meal. She was constantly checking in on us willing to assist. Please try the Famed Hula Pie for dessert, it's Extraordinary !!!
