              We have been coming to Jake's since 2010 and was a reservation that was a must when coming to Del Mar. Our meal was terrible last night and not what one expects when coming to Jake's. One of our family members has been getting the Beachside Vegan for years, and this was nothing like it used to be. Please bring back the original. The one on the menu right now should not even be listed as a meal. It was basically a plate of garnish and hard vegetables. Not the bowl of steamed rice ,yummy curry and roasted vegetables like usual. We also ordered the Mahi and it was tough and terrible. Our server was amazing and the calamari was still tops---so maybe we just come back for appetizers for lunch--but not anytime soon.

              Jake’s is always the go to place for special occasions. But it can also be the drop in spot. Always wonderful service and great food. How can you fail with the Pacific Ocean at your feet. 5 Stars!

              My wife and I eat on a regular basis at Jake's Del Mar. Most of the locals know about this outstanding restaurant and the location. The food and service are always excellent. The views are spectacular. We keep going back because of this. I would highly recommend reservations especially in the summer. If you are visiting Del Mar and don't know the restaurants in this area, this would be a top location for lunch or dinner.

              Very nice view and atmosphere. The service was amazing even it was super busy Valentine’s Day. The only thins was both entree lamb and lemon garlic fish were blend and spicy at the same time somehow.. The chowder was very nice: hula pie was ok
