We love this restaurant for the beach/ocean views. We’ve never been here for dinner before (usually go for brunch/lunch) and found it extremely loud and bustling. No Happy Hours ever, which I found unusual since it was a Thursday evening. They have a nice selection of cocktails which I got the Lavender/lemon vodka drink (can’t remember the name) and it was delicious. The food was good, but for the value I wasn’t impressed. The filet was expensive compared to other restaurants and that was with out any surf (shrimp). Also, they don’t list the types of fish on their menu. When it came to the special, it was Barramundi which we were told was basically perch. I’ve found the value has been better at other restaurants for surf and turf. But what really made the dining experience not so good was the noise level and the service. I had to ask 3 times to refill my water before it was taken care of. We had to yell to hear each other’s conversation and the service was so bad I didn’t tip my normal 20% and above. I’ll go anywhere else for dinner but here sorry to say. I usually don’t give bad reviews, but felt compelled to so that the restaurant understands what they can do better.
