   really busy. we waited 20 minutes for our reservation. food great, service superb. new space very spare and not particularly inviting. glad to have eaten there.

   We love the brussels sprouts, and the cauliflower appetizer! those two things ring us back every time we are in Palm Springs!

   Smashing as usual! Our servers were charming and attentive. Our meal was superb with generous portions. The staff were attentive and charming. My husband agreed that Jake’s is the best restaurant in town!

   Loved the food and dog-welcoming vibe. We sat out on front patio to people gaze. Many patrons waited outdoors for friends to arrive. Apparently it’s a fun cafe for groups to gather for food and a creative selection of craft cocktails.

   Always a wonderful dining experience at Jake’s! Food, drinks service are second to none! Great staff and customers! We love Jake’s!

   Outstanding in every category. Super friendly hostess and staff. Newly added dining room was so noisy that we had to move to the front patio, which turned out to be warm (it was a cold, rainy night) and quite pleasant. Ordered the 6 oz steak and wedge. The steak was top quality, cooked to perfection (MR) and the wedge was fresh and crisp. We brought our own 1000 Island dressing as we find blue cheese too strong. Some restaurants will serve it as a requested option. Definitely a repeat, though parking is a challenge; but a bit of a walk to side street parking is a great way to help digestion.

   This is the second time I have gone there and ate in the roll on the left after entering. The noise level was ridiculous both times. I like the restaurant but I am never going back b/c it’s impossible to have a conversation with dinning companies. And btw we went at 5:15. May you need to have dinner at 3:00 pm if you want to have a conversation. No good for me.

    We have been coming to Jake’s the last 10 years each time we come to Palm Springs for the tennis tournament . It is great to see the expansion of the area, more room for patrons like us. This year my husband and I came without our usual group. We were seated 15min after our reservation at 130pm. We were served our food 30 minutes after we ordered. We thought that took long for a sandwich and a salad. Food is great that is why we keep on coming back but we didn’t feel we had a better serving this year.
