Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Went there for a little holiday/birthday dinner with friends. I hadn’t gone since before the renovations and the restaurant looks beautiful! Amazing service from the check in staff to those clearing the tables! For some of my friends being their first time there, they loved it and will go back! Thank you!

Food is what makes Javier’s a place to eat. The service was below average. Waiter was mora annoyed than personable. As he took our order he was looking around and seemed preoccupied. Ordered the plate for two and after the food was dropped never saw the waiter again.

SO LOUD! Can’t carry on a conversation at a table. Great food, service and ambience but unless you are 3 sheets to the wind you can’t enjoy it. Worst music track ever!!!

Dined on Christmas Eve. Delicious food, felt a bit rushed, not knowing the kitchen was closing at 3:00. Totally understand, staff to go home and enjoy family. Would have been nice to have known while making our reservation.

Margaritas and ceviches are so good. We also ordered mole for my husband and he really liked it. We sat in a booth and were able to watch the sunset. It was beautiful and overall great experience. I want to suggest to clean the chairs too not just the tables. Other than that it was great as always.
