Located in the charming village of historic Greendale, Joey Gerard’s embraces an upscale casual dining experience while combining classic supper club menu options – charcoal-fired steaks in Josper ovens, grilled cold-water lobster tails, cedar-plank salmon, and a modern spin on supper-club classics such as Braised Short Rib Beef Stroganoff; and of course, the classic Schaum torte – baked meringue and fresh strawberries.

    Very good steaks, above average Lamb Chops, Great service. Brussel sprouts are not so good, and Brandy Old Fashioned average(needed to have a smoother sweet taste. Atmosphere on some dining areas were great and some dining areas just average.

    We've been here many times, for many occasions. It's normally my favorite special event restaurant. This New Year's Eve was a miss. I'm thankful the manager on duty made it better with comping our meal, but there is a hesitation on returning after such an incredible miss.

    My wife and I had dinner New Year’s Eve. I had the stuffed lobster tail, which actually was a half tail the crab stuffing was two and half forks full. The sides looked and tasted like they were made in a prison kitchen. The lobster was ok at best. My wife had the salmon which was ok also. All for $120+. Not worth it. Lost a loyal customer. This place really went downhill. I will say service was good.

    First of all it was an early reservation for two, there were numerous booths for two available but was given a booth by the kitchen doors. It was very noisy there because I could hear the kitchen staff being loud in their conversations. Also the two doors made noise every time someone went in or out of kitchen . I asked for a different table and followed the hostess back up to the front desk where the two other girls didn't know how to solve the issue. The one girl stated "just tell them there's no switching tables", mind you, there were 4 other booths in the room which they could move us to, I told the hostess this was unacceptable, she then stated that that was her answer. I then asked for the manager and she was very nice, she moved us and even stopped by during and when we were leaving to see how are meal went. Kudos for her. As for the food my girlfriend had a charbroiled filet. She felt the outside was charbroiled to the point of being burnt. I did agree with her on that, she only finished half the steak. Being our first time there we expected more from a Bartolotta Restaurant.

    We love Joey Gerard’s, but there isn’t a gluten free menu. We asked the waitress tonight if there was one and she said “no, we don’t have gluten free”. In the past, the waitress staff was knowledgeable on the menu and was able to point the gluten free diner in our group with recommendations on gf options. I think tonight’s waitress saw the look on my face and ended up coming back and saying she’d ask the chef, but at a fine dining restaurant like this I’d expect a bit of a friendlier experience. All in all, it was a great dinner. BTW- the filet mignon with the herb butter, salted baked potato, and mushrooms are gluten free (as well as the veggie tray that has a fabulous green goddess dressing!)

    First time at Joey Gerard's and it was fantastic. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, so tender and flavorful. The schaum torte was delicious! Loved it!

    Great place amazing service from Michael, perhaps one of the best waiters we’ve ever had. Food was good, scallops great and filet spot on.

    We always have a great experience here. It was busy because it was Christmas, but we didn’t have to wait long for our meal. Best old fashioned we’ve ever had!! We loved our steaks and Brandy Alexander ice cream drink for dessert. Highly recommend. We come here at least once a year and are always treated really well.
