   What a great lunch at JAI. Max was a waiter and so kind and attentive. The price fixe menu of 3 courses is more food than any of us could eat. The desserts were yummy. We had an assortment of all the menu items. Shepards' pie was wonderful Tuna salad was outstanding and prepared perfectly Po' Boy was both crispy and tender. I had the twin filets cooked perfectly. Desserts were great as well. The bread pudding was a standout! Overall, it was a great experience. Extra points for the kind hostess that sat us close to the heat on a chilly day! Bravo!!

   I had the Scallops with mushroom risotto. Delicious! We've been to The Joseph Ambler Inn many times. Always a good experience.

   Our server was created excellent! Our 4 entress were so delicious. Our only concern was the flan we ordered for dessert. It was served hot like it was heated up in a microwave. I have always had flan setved cold. Although the presentation of the flan was very pretty, the portion was very small for $10.50.

   Food was excellent, Tina was a wonderful server and the place was beautiful. Got a little loud, but still a great experience.

   I have been to the restaurant multiple times and usually the food is well prepared and deserving of a B+ to A rating. That was not the case this evening. We ordered the beet salad, crab cakes and 2 orders of the risotto. The crab cakes were decent but the risotto was anything but. It resembled overcooked rice more than risotto. The addition of shrimp (overcooked) and grilled chicken (overcooked and very dry) did not help. I have had their risotto before but whatever changes they have implemented to the recipe or the preparation are a big miss.
