Don’t order the chili rellenos! My meal was so very disappointing. We started out with a round of cocktails, all fine and good. Then mussels to share, which were very tasty and prepared with chorizo. The BIG disappointment was with our entree- my friend and I both ordered the chili rellenos…the presentation was okay, but the batter on the poblanos totally soggy, then to add to the letdown there was actually no cheese inside them. My plate was a disgusting mess of mush. Underneath the poorly fried/prepared peppers was a mix of black beans and rice. So mix up a bunch of soggy fried coating with a poblano and no cheese stuffing, on top of Caribbean rice and beans…it was really terrible. I’m normally not one to suffer in silence, but I did not complain or send it back. I went home hungry. Also when we confirmed the reservation on the phone and were asked if there was any occasion we were celebrating I answered YES there are two of us celebrating birthdays! I don’t know why they bothered to ask, because it was not addressed in any way. It was a sad experience. Note to self and others reading this- don’t order Mexican food at a Caribbean themed restaurant, especially in Pennsylvania.

First, our server was excellent. Second, normally, I really love eating at this restaurant. However, this time the server (who didn’t know I’m vegan) told me after I told her about my seafood allergy (btw the tofu is marked vegan on the menu) that the tofu is fried in the same fryer as conch. [I told her about the seafood allergy so the kitchen would be aware of avoiding cross contamination]. I do not know if the tofu is always fried with animal products but vegans beware, as well as those with food allergies. ✌️

Brian was fantastic! Loved the bean dip, always. Tried the crispy tofu for the first time and loved it.

Great service and food! The paella was absolutely divine and everyone else in our group loved our food. Only empty plates came from our table!

The food was fantastic and the price was fine. It was loud and dark inside and the tables were almost on top of each other, but I didn’t think it hurt the overall atmosphere. The waiter was overly talkative. I could tell he was trying, which I can respect, but I would have liked less attention from the waiter. I would recommend.

Amazing as always. Tried a new dish this time. The crab cake was divine. Perfectly crispy on the outside and oh, that brioche bun. The wings were spicy but really good. Love that chowder. Cocktails were well poured.
