Our meal was Sensational for our date night!! Only one minor problem, our dessert had bananas in it and they were as hard as brick bats. When I told our waiter the kitchen denied it and that was a big laugh to the staff. Please make sure the chef is using ripe bananas… these desserts are not cheep.

Absolutely love this place. Only 4 stars for food, though...because the dish I love the most, avo mac nut salad, is no longer on the menu. It was my favorite! At least they have returned the lava cake, also TDF. Truly the food is outstanding but bring the salad back, please.

We have been in Kona for the past 5 nights, and have eaten at Kenichi Pacific twice already! The food is superb and the service was outstanding!

Four times we have been here since being in Kona! Great last dinner before we left… wafu mushroom noodles and salmon with crunchy skin but the two exquisite sushi rolls made by Jacob! And Jacob our waiter was kind sweet and knowledgeable of everything! Thanks to the owners again for a lovely place!

Kenichi's is always a safe bet for a nice evening out. Service is top-notch and food quality is good.

Parking is a hassle downtown but Kona Inn has great service, wonderful food and the traditional Kona vibe with the large wicker chairs, open ocean air and can hear the waves. We loved it!

Another wonderful evening! We had our favorite table waiting even though it was very busy and Malia our fabulous server! We had the mahi mahi and lamb and an exceptional sushi roll made by the sushi chef (thank you!) and dessert… thanks again for the lovely hospitality and delicious food!

This review does not reflect service or food, etc., because there was no experience to rate. I made a reservation on Feb 9 at 6pm for a birthday dinner. To our surprise when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. No signage was posted and the hours showed that they were supposed to be open. It was such a bummer, but fortunately Teshima’s restaurant up the hill was able to accommodate our party of 6.

Took 5 minutes standing in line to wait to be seated at table. No one ever came to serve us . After 15 minutes husband went inside to request service. After 5 more minutes of neglect we walked out ! Terrible customer service! Never will return.
