Excellent. We have resided here for an extended period, and they are a regular customer. The cuisine is exceptional, and the service remains impeccable. Jacob provided exceptional assistance in resolving a few minor issues, and his efforts were greatly appreciated.

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant; I ordered the sashimi dinner and my partner ordered two sushi rolls. The fish was very good, although we both noticed that the prices were higher and the quantity of food provided was lower than a year ago. In other words, the value has declined. Also, we noticed that the sushi chefs were quite a bit younger than the ones a year ago and not as experienced. The sashimi that I was served was not cut into bight-size pieces, as I had to wrestle with each piece and bight off a smaller piece to chew. Also, the sushi rolls were pretty small for the price. So although the quality of the food is quite good, diners may find much better value elsewhere. Service was good.

Not impressed. Something about the vibe feels anxious and unorganized. We were seated next to a family with three small children, one screaming so loud the staff was getting annoyed. We asked to be moved. I have worked in food service. Normally a restaurant would comp the drinks for the table due to the inconvenience and the noise, but not them. Then when the main course arrived mine was undercooked, rare when it should have been well done (their fish special). They took the fish back and cooked it, and it tasted ok then. But again, when that happens a normal restaurant would comp the meal, out of embarrassment that they served an undercooked dish to a customer. Instead they took 10% off the bill. A nice but dramatically inadequate gesture.

The recent menu change was disappointing. The prices have been increased significantly. Charging a 3% fee for use of a credit card on top of significant price increases destroys the value received.

We had a wonderful meal. Been coming here for many years and the new owners are doing a great job. The menu has changed but the new choices are delish. Nice to see the restaurant busy ….

Have only gone twice in the past six months but used to go regularly (1-2 times a month average). Have gone for Happy Hour and again for dinner. Quality has declined dramatically from a couple years ago. Disappointing.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. It was amazing!! We had 3 sushi rolls, sizzling steak, chicken katsu carbonara, the sashimi platter and the crusted Mahi. Everything was incredible. The service was wonderful, Our server Malia was so kind and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect. I highly highly recommend!!

Most of the food was good, but not great. Fresh / real wasabi is a nice touch. It felt a bit like a Japanese restaurant trying to cater to American tastes (which could be a positive or a negative depending on what you’re seeking). Our biggest issue was confusion with the menu. The menu at the restaurant didn’t match the online menu, we received two different menus at our table (half of which were outdated), then several of the drinks listed on the latest menu were not available.
