   I like this place and it’s nice it’s usually available for immediate seating. Love the aesthetic, seats are comfy and always get good drinks here. This visit was good, waiter Michael was very good - on top of things and very personable. Mom had shrimp Caesar and it was great. I had the shrimp and grits this time and I did not love the gravy/sauce. It was very tomato heavy and just not what I want out of my shrimp and grits. Shrimp was good and so were the grits themselves but I just didn’t care for the topping. I’ll get something else next time.

   I have eaten at Kingfish many times and never disappointed. Latest was with 5 friends. It was a busy post-parade night. But we were seated promptly and the food and service were both wonderful.

   We had a great experience once we sat down. It was our second time here. We did wait at the front waiting on the hostess for a considerable amount of time even though we had a reservation. We were asked to wait for the hostess to return and then people behind us in line at the front were sat before us.

   They were extremely busy and worn down after a lomg super bowl week. The staff was incredible and the food was even better.

   Food was mediocre, server very friendly. It was superbowl weekend but I expected better quality food

   Food was great - had the Red Beans and Rice and Fried Chicken. Chicken had a kick! Service was friendly and fast despite it being Super Bowl weekend. Glad we went there.

   Horrible. Waited nearly two hours for our food. Waitress and manager knew it was an issue and avoided us. Local here and have always loved the Kingfish but this was the worst experience I’ve had in New Orleans in a very long time.

   Service by Emily was fantastic, appetizers (beet salad, crab cakes) were phenomenal however the steak wasn't cooked right (orderes medium and got well done) and was chewy with the baked potato being basically tasteless. Drinks were tasty! Unfortunate for the mains especially with the price, there were four tables around us and all complained about their mains.

    Fried chicken and scallop pasta were very good. Chicken crispy and flavorful. Skip the shrimp and grits unless you really like crystals hot sauce because the sauce was loaded with it. Better shrimp and grits other places. Crab cake and gumbo were also delicious.
