   First time having thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant, thank you for making it special ! Our waitress had wonderful suggestions and everything was delicious

   I hadn't been to King's Fish House in years and when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised at how it had been remodeled since I was there last. It used to be kind of cold with hard wood booths but now it was much more attractive and comfortable. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately. The service was very good and our server was delightful. I had a wedge salad and the tuna melt sandwich. The salad was a generous portion but whereas most wedge salads have chopped tomato on top of the wedge this one had one over-salted slice of tomato on the side. My tuna melt was absolutely tasteless. My husband had fish and chips and he said it was only fair. On top of that the room was very noisy. I don't think we'll be back.

   Thought we would try the Thanksgiving turkey dinner special this year. Other than the nice-sized mixed green salad starter the dinner disappointed. The meal was cold and a cold turkey dinner is not great. Probably should have sent it back. Next time we’ll stick to this restaurant’s core offerings of seafood, which have always been great. On another note, redemption of the $100 gift card was a nightmare. Our poor waiter had to bring one of us up to the register and manually enter the code and only after flagging down a manager; twice! No scanning of the bar code available. King’s needs to do better here if they continue to promote this offering.

   I specifically picked this place hoping to have a great Thannksgiving meal. We have only been there once before and really enjoyed it. The one thing we liked were the coctails. The meal was not worth the price we paid . The servings were on the lighter side.The dressing was horrible, tne cranberrie sauce was runnung rampid on the plate and we had to request more gravy that came in a 2 TAB. size cup. We brought the dessert home and have yet tpo have it. I know we will not recommend this for Thanksgiving. Stick to what you do best, fish. If you need help in making a great dressing , I could help! Mediorcre at best.

   I am giving them 3 starts on noise level because we sat in the patio and you can hear the highway and there was a table with dogs. Not complaining. Just an honest answer. Books for Thanksgiving day. Picked regular menu over 3 course turkey dinner because we are not big turkey eaters. All was excellent! Will definitely book again!

   We LOVE this restaurant and have been here many times! They have excellent food and service. While we usually enjoy their seafood, today we had their Thanksgiving meal and it was very well made. The turkey was tender, the stuffing moist and flavorful, the cranberry sauce with just the right touch of citrus, the potatoes and turkey gravy the perfect tasty accompaniment. To start, there was a choice of clam chowder or organic greens. We all got the clam chowder and it was rich and wonderful! Dessert was a choice of pumpkin cheesecake or chocolate cake - both were good. We will never NOT recommend this place, it's the best!!

   We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner! The staff was exceptional especially Ericka! Would definitely do it again next year!

   We had the Thanksgiving day turkey special today and it was perfect. Service by Alex was outstanding. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and made our dining experience all we hoped that it would be.

   Service was great! Oyster sampler was perfect to try different regions. Trout was cooked just right and my husbands steak was very good too. Only issue with the food was sea bass was a bit dry and seems over cooked. Bday key lime pie w/ candle at the end was a nice touch. Thank you!

    We have been coming here for years, the past few times we haven’t been happy. We gave it another shot last night and we will not be going back. I wish I would’ve taken a photo of our plates. I ordered the scallops, it was $33.50 and it came with 6 bite sized scallops, one small scoop of mashed potatoes and I ordered the brussel sprouts which was an additional $2.75 charge and it only came with a small scoop which consisted of 5 brussel sprouts and some bacon. My husband got shrimp which was $27.50 which came with 8 shrimp, he also got a small scoop of mashed potatoes and a side salad that was average. My son got the lobster tail with a baked potato and fries-he said the butter was not good and the lobster was chewy. We go to Crab Cooker and Fish House Vera Cruz often and both are way better and same pricing.
