   If happy hour is at 2pm then orders made at 2pm should be honored. Kona’s clocks are 10 minutes behind. Our server couldn’t even enter our order so we just sat there. Annoying.

   we usually have great experiences at the Kona Grill : not so much last evening. My wife's fish entree was overcooked to the point of being extra chewy. Very much a disappointment. No time to get the dish replaced as we had a time sensitive commitment after dinner. We'll most likely return to the Kona Grill but won't choose a fish entree in the future.

   My husband and I visited this sushi and steakhouse during happy hour, but the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Ambiance: The place wasn’t crowded, which was nice, and the bathroom was clean—a good first impression. Service: Our server was very friendly and apologetic when she let us know they were out of the happy hour prime rib and shrimp for $14, even though we ordered at 9:30 (happy hour starts at 9). Drinks: We tried the $3 sake shots—definitely not smooth. They were harsh enough that I needed orange juice to chase them down! For the price, it’s hard to complain, but it’s not something I’d order again. Soda was just okay—McDonald’s soda definitely tastes better. Food: •Fries: Absolutely delicious! Perfectly crunchy without being stale or too hard. They were great with the ketchup, but I would’ve loved some ranch (the menu mentioned “K sauce,” but it turned out to just be ketchup). •Ribeye Steak: It was good but didn’t quite match the quality of nearby Echo and Rig for the same price. That said, Echo and Rig is a dedicated steakhouse, while this place offers a mix of sushi and steak. The Oscar-style crab on the side was fantastic—full of flavor and creamy. Dipping the steak in it took the dish to the next level. •Sliders: Tasty but had a very sweet aftertaste that might not be for everyone. •Miso Whipped Mashed Potatoes: Great flavor with a kick! A solid choice if you’re craving mash. •Shrimp Tempura: Amazing—creamy, crunchy, and perfectly cooked. Downsides: •It took quite a while for someone to come to the table so I could order the mashed potatoes. •Refills were slow, and there didn’t seem to be a bus person checking in like at other restaurants. Overall: While the food had its highlights (the Oscar-style crab and shrimp tempura were standouts), the service and small inconsistencies left room for improvement.

   Kona Grill - Boca Park is a great spot. Welcoming & chill vibe, friendly & attentive service (Thank You Copca), solid beer list, and tasty menu. Our favorite bites are their Kona Sliders, and their BBQ Chicken Flatbread. We recommend Kona Grill - Boca Park.

   We were seated upstairs where we had a nice view of the surrounding area and mountains. Our waiter was excellent and deserving of mention if only I could remember his name. There were 9 of us for Thanksgiving dinner. We had several traditional turkey dinners; a couple of chopped Asian salads; fish and chips and a few appetizers, all of which were much to our liking. The only thing which might have been better was the cheesecake (the graham cracker crust would have been better if thicker).

   Second time coming here. Happy hour is from 2-6pm. It’s a great value for food and drink. Quality of food is the typical Sysco genre. Service is good. Really noisy tonight but it’s Thanksgiving Eve. I should know better. Will come back in the spring when we can sit outside.

    Food was good, however, menu items are expensive in comparison to similar Summerlin restaurants. Not a fan of the ambiance, as the contemporary design reminded me of being in a cafeteria.
