    The only holdup from it being 5 stars all around is that we requested to be moved to a booth, we told no, and then that booth sat empty during our entire meal. I understand they were very busy, which is expected, but it would have been nice to be accommodated. Overall a great experience though and we would happily go back.

    All of our apps came out cold like they had been sitting there for a while the sauce on the pretzels had dried out over the the tops of both of them I ordered a passion margarita and my glass came out and it wasn’t even full!! the service was terrible everything took forever which I feel had nothing to do with the holiday and more to do with the server! The table next to us sat dark after us got everything before we did!!! and we were unaware that they were operating on a limited menu and we were told no substitutions which was fine but we told that we couldn’t even add shrimp to our entree which isn’t a substitution technically its an addition!!!???? for the amount of money we spent this was ridiculous poor treatment overall and it was our first time eating here and mostly the Last!!

    Saturday night dinner at 6:15 for two before an 8pm show at the Palladium. ordered drinks shortly after we sat down, they took 20 mins to arrive. Dirty wine glass (a piece of food crusted to the inside). Ordered appetizer and dinner, waited 40 mins and nothing ever arrived. We finally gave up and told our waitress we needed to leave for our show. They paid for our drinks, but that certainly didn’t make up for the lack of dinner. Management clearly way overbooked the dining room, the kitchen and staff were overwhelmed. I’ve heard this is a common occurrence. Also, a careless waitress from another section bumped into my wife’s chair 3 times, never acknowledged or apologized. We won’t be back.

    We’ve been a customer for years, where early on, it was our go-to for date nites. However, the last 3 out of 4 visits have been us-par to say the least. We were there with my daughters and grandchildren to celebrate my wife’s birthday. 1st, both orders of potstickers were COLD inside. You don’t want to serve people undercooked pork! Our waiter did comp them, and brought us another order that was at least warm…that we were charged for. 2nd, my daughters burger was undercooked (for a $22 burger, it should be perfect!$. When she pointed it out, it took 15 minutes for it to come back out. Last, when I got the bill, we had been charged for BOTH burgers..the undercooked one and the one that replaced it. Our server apologized and corrected it, but good that I checked carefully. The other two previous visits that were subpar also involved undercooked food, and incorrect orders that we had to wait for to be corrected. I’m one of those two cases our waitress was downright snotty with me when I kindly asked that my $40+ sea bass be cooked…it wasn’t warm…it was COLD. Our server this visit was pleasant and attentive, and I did tip him for that…much of this was not his fault. For an upscale restaurant with upscale prices, I expect good service and good, properly cooked food. After these last visits, I’m not at all enthused to return, nor recommend KG. There are far too many choices that we’ve also frequented that do it much better than our recent experiences with you.

    Went for a late Valentine's dinner with my husband. I ordered a medium-well, butterflied fillet, and it came out undercooked and not butterflied. The waited took it back to put on the grill "for two minutes". Twenty minutes later I got it back, my husband was done with his meal by then. My steak was dry and had stringy fat through it. It made me question if it was a fillet. I decided to try a few bites of the miso mashed potatoes on my plate, and they had no flavor. I was done with this horrible experience and told the waiter to just take it off of my bill. So, I left hungry. No offer to bring me something else or try to make it right. Needless to say, my husband and I will not be returning to Kona Grill.

    This was supposed to be a good experience but turned out bad. Waited over 40 minutes to be seated when I had a reservation for a certain time. Then waited another 45 minutes for the food. Over priced food wasn’t as good as advertised. I need Kona to step it up please!

    It was our first time dining at this place but I felt that their menu it’s overpriced, there’s no way to justify a $23 child size burger with some cold fries. We waited over 40 mins to be seated and 53 minutes for our food. In my own opinion it’s definitely not worth the money spent.

    We were seated promptly. Service was very slow. The Sushi can out timely and was good. Took almost 90 minutes to get our meals. My wife's meal was cold and mine was luke warm and the steak was over cooked. Costly check. We used to be big fans of Kona Grill. Probably will not be back. Too many other choices.

    Made reservations over two weeks ago for a Valentine’s Day dinner. Our reservation was for 8pm we showed up early around 740 knowing it would be busy. We were not sat till past 830. Service was slow and the kitchen was even slower. Food came out cold and overcooked. Our server did try to make it right but the overall evening took over three hours! Three hours to have dinner! Unacceptable. Entire experience was very disappointing and we will never go back to Kona. Management made a big mistake and over booked the evening and did not have the staff or kitchen ability to keep up. Very bad experience.

    Valentine's for 4 was a disaster. 45 minutes later was seated after reserved time. Waited 1 and 30 minutes for food to come out. 3 Filets ordered Medium were Medium Rare to Rare. Ran out of Miso Mash potatoes so just substituted finger potatoes without telling us. Had the Surf/Turf. Dry and Chewy lobster tail with no butter, and filet was chewy. Too many things to mention that I was just poor quality. Only good thing was the fountain drinks. $345 total bill. Will never go back.
