   The food was horrible and way over priced for quality and portions. Had to send back my prime rib. Couldn’t get it medium rare either. Apparently, They cook in the morning, then cook it again before it’s served. So she said it would be medium. Weird, but I trusted it especially paying so much. Ewww! It was gray and disgusting. Spent $176 before a $40 tip. There were two of us dining. Two appetizers and two meals and one slice of cheesecake that looked like the a grocery store one and small. Should have went to Grimaldi’s for the cheesecake! Server made it seem like sushi was large saying it’s six pieces. The skinniest and nastiest Las Vegas roll I’ve ever had. Server was great but we will never be back again. I’ve never felt so bad leaving and wasting so much money. I don’t know how they’re still open.

   Enjoyed the atmosphere and our waiter Mark was great! Food was wonderful and the Old Fashion drink was good too. Definitely will return.

   The sushi was not as great as it has been in the past. We ordered specialty rolls and all of them were not good as they usually are. We were very disappointed especially for the price of everything. The soda was flat and we were not offered a replacement drink. The wagu fried rice was overcooked the steak was crispy. We asked if it was under management but the food was not as good as it used to be and the prices are ridiculously overpriced.

   The food was good and the service was solid. The prices were obscene. 2 kids and 2 adults (with 1 glass of wine and one draft beer) and it was $180. We haven’t eaten at Kona in a long time, so I can’t confirm they jacked up the prices for NYE, but an appetizer of edamame was $17. A rainbow roll was $25. I’ve eaten at nicer sushi restaurants that weren’t that expensive. Doesn’t surprise me the restaurant was half empty.

   We did not end up staying for dinner because we came for sushi and we were informed that they had a very limited sushi menu because of the holidays which was not common for Kona Grill

    We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve early lunch. We sat on the patio. The weather was beautiful. The food was fantastic and our waiter was awesome.
