For many years, the Kula Lodge has been a favorite for both visitors and Kama'aina alike for delicious cuisine and breathtaking views of Maui. Perched high on the slopes of Haleakala with a 180 degree view of Maui, the Kula Lodge and Restaurant is a comfortable and homey place to relax, especially on your way down from the sunrise or sunset at the crater. It is situated on 4 lovely acres and not only has a stunning botanical garden, it has the only full-service bar and live music in Kula, along with a wine cave/private dining room for special dinners/events.

The restaurant seats up to 160 guests, making it ideal for weddings and special events. The Kula Lodge outdoor Garden Terrace features a brick wood-burning pizza oven and an open view of south, central and the Maui mountains. The sunset views are absolutely phenomenal!

Kula Lodge & Restaurant is open 7 days a week for Brunch, Happy Hour and Dinner. There is also a retail shop and 5 hotel rooms on property. Call for more info!

    Living up country as we have had for many years it's wonderful to have such a quality restaurant within driving distance and with such wonderful food incredible views incredible staff. Highly recommend and look forward to seeing more people enjoying this wonderful gem

    I always order the pancake with macadamia nuts and coconut syrup. No coconut syrup was available😢. My biggest disappointment was the presence of a dog at the next table. It was either on the glass sill or the customers lap. I believe that a dog is not allowed inside a restaurant due to food and health laws. I probably will not be back.

    As usual, Kula Lodge Restaurant is such a great experience! We loved it! You still have my favorite brussel sprouts recipe! The wood fired pizza is delicious! (I had the sausage) The Happy Hour is great! I’m glad you have kama’aina discount on certain days, as well! The Japanese gardens are unique and the view from the restaurant is phenomenal!

    This amazing restaurant is worth the drive up country. Cozy lodge with the most amazing views of Maui. Food and alcoholic drinks were top notch. Service was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be visiting this unique restaurant again.

    A beautiful lunch out on the patio. Spectacular views from the Kula Lodge gardens as always. The meal was a solid 4/5 stars. I miss the previous chef.
