   Five stars, definitely my favorite dining experience in KC. The 4 stars for value is because it’s a little expensive, but it’s worth it and the kind of food, service, and atmosphere that should cost more. Maybe I should have rated that as N/A. We came last week, too, had almost entirely different tapas each time, and enjoyed both experiences.

   The service was exceptional and the waitress was beyond attentive. Will definitely be going back. The food was amazing!! Never disappoints ❤️

   What an incredible, fun, and savory experience. We had way too much food for just two people so I would take some friends with you. And order the paella (pie-a-ya). While you wait on that, grab a couple of tapas - we had the braised short rib and potatoes. Both were awesome. Now the paella - get ready for some ridiculous flavors. The lemon/tang of the rice, the heat of the chorizo, the succulent clams and muscles. It all works and listen to your server. They did us right.

   Excellent service. Plenty of specials, and they even let you order from the rest of the menu during brunch. Will definitely be back!

   La Bodega is always a good experience. Great atmosphere, delicious food and great service. And love the variety of Spanish plates and quality beverages.

    We went for KC Restaurant Week and had a wonderful meal. We planned to each try different things and share them all. We started with tomato soup and papas fritas (fried potatoes) for appetizers. Both were hot and delicious. Then we tried the paella and tapas sampler for entrees - great variety of flavors and textures and we would definitely go back for paella and all those crispy bits! Dessert was a fantastic almond cake with blood orange curd that I don't think is usually on the menu but it should be. The cake was a perfect texture with a little crunch in the crust and not too sweet to balance the curd, which was one of the best things I've ever tasted. Addition of whipped cream and a sprinkle of toasted chopped nuts and it was the perfect blend and radio of flavors and textures to cap the meal. Their wine list is excellent, and the service (Dani was our server, but there were many staff assisting with drinks, clearing plates, and bringing food out) was perfect. For a business that had just been broken into on the busiest week, you couldn't tell anything was amiss. Hope they continue to delight us for many years to come.
