La Collina has delighted diners with world-class cuisine, service, and ambiance for more than 31 remarkable years. Classically-trained staff serve a selection of the finest old-world recipes in an atmosphere of casual elegance, while attending to every detail.
Located just off the Schuylkill Expressway in Belmont Hills, La Collina boasts spectacular hilltop views. The bar offers a unique atmosphere with live entertainment and dancing on weekends. This gem is known as one of the most romantic restaurants on the Main Line.
La Collina specializes in fresh seafood and veal dishes. Its signature dish, Dover Sole, is a delicate, tasty fish that is uniquely grilled, and served tableside. In addition to our Dover Sole, our daily fresh-fish specials include Branzino, Norwegian Salmon, Pompano, Orata, soft-shell crabs, Langostina, and other delights from the sea, depending upon availability. My god, I have never felt so gypped for a meal at that price. First of all, prices on the website are like $8-10 less than they are in restaurant. $31 for a bowl of pasta with NO MEAT OR SEAFOOD. Just pasta and sauce. My wife always, always orders desert out. By the time we were done with the meal we were disgusted by the price, we skipped desert. The food was subpar. Not bad, but not great. For that price? Should have been extraordinary.

Website shows a $32 lunch special. Server says it’s their catering menu for parties of 20 or more. Food was adequate, but it came at a steep price for croutons from a box on Caesar salads and a pair of so-so entrees.

Great experience overall. Staff is friendly and attentive. Pasta is amazing. Only negative was calamari wasn’t good and I told the waiter and he did not charge us which we appreciated. Their calamari needs a crispier outside. All in all I’ll be back.

12.27.24: We had a wonderful post Christmas dinner together with a fabulous Theatre show at THE MET, by Cirque du Soleil, called ‘Twas the night Before! Our meal was outstanding… It says that our server was named Errol… We started with some nice aqua pana, springwater and fabulous mocktails… The mooseberry smash and the passionfruit drinks, —we had very fresh, delicious raw oysters, the grilled octopus, the Pulpo Crudo salad, which is our favorite, the linguine Fruta Del Mare, the lobster ravioli with the most incredible cream sauce we loved it so much… !! nd we finished with splitting a delicious, fresh perfect, cannoli! WOW!! Thank you for a perfect meal, La Collina! FIVE STARS!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Perfect ambience! Perfect everything !

Everything was Great until.i got my entree, There was something seriously wrong with my Chicken Parm. It was completely inedible so much so I don't think ill.ever be back..

Dining on Christmas day is not a fair assessment of a restaurant. La Collina was very busy and the staff worked hard to serve the customers. The service was good. This was not our first time dining at this restaurant. The food is high quality and there is a nice dining atmosphere. The entree portion was adequate but the a la carte dishes were small portions. My iceberg lettuce wedge was more lettuce and little dressing. This was a disappointment. Overall, this is a nice, high end Italian restaurant.
