   The restaurant and food itself was very nice. I would definitely recommend the food and ambiance! I had the chilaquiles and they were a 10/10. However, our service was horrible. We walked in with a coffee cup and were asked to throw it away. We kindly asked if they can at least hold it at host stand while we eat and then we can grab it on our way out and they said no and we had to throw it away. Second, our server Riley was not in great mood and everything felt rushed, despite us being the only table. When it came time to get the bill, he didn’t even ask us how we wanted to split it (there were 4 of us) and he just slapped down the bill and walked away before we could even get a sentence out. The only option he gave us was to split the bill evenly amongst the 4 of us which was a huge mess. His attitude and the service style of the restaurant made the service not enjoyable.

   Our waiter Manny was super! Great recommendations and great service. Food was fresh and flavorful. You can tell the care and time they take to make their plates here. I enjoyed the background and context given for each plate as it came out and made the experience that much better.

   Celebrated our 13th anniversary there last night & loved our experience. Lots of GF options on the menu plus the drinks were fab! Highly recommend!

   Delicious, one of Texas’ bests all around. I will dream of that meal until I visit again. Everything from apps to dessert was original and delicious - and the service was world class. Queso dish with mini tortillas was the best I’ve had, ever! The chicken dish was perfectly seasoned with flavors blended so well. Dessert and warm chocolate drink were amazing. It’s warm, cozy, interesting and welcoming. Dining here was like a big hug you don’t want to end! Ramses was a great server. It was so refreshing to hear him so excited about the food and chef — and every team member shared that type of enthusiasm and warmth. Thank you all for a fantastic experience!

   This was one of the top 10 meals of my life. I loved every single dish. They were creative and comforting and spicy and colorful and uniquely presented. I couldn't love this restaurant more. The service was fantastic, the cocktails were spicy and smokey (and half-off because of happy hour). LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant.

   Love this place. Been there 100 times. One of the best in Austin. Get the Sikil Pak and the Queso with short rib and the Cochinita Pibil

    I took a risk on booking a restaurant I have not been to before for a business dinner. The goal was to bring authentic nicer dinner option to celebrate and end the year after my team accomplished some big goals. Overall experience was subpar at best. Service we were neglected for extended periods of time with 0 refills in the over 2 hrs dining experience. I wasn’t allowed a chance to order all at one time but asked to wait to order entrees and items later versus placing an order and having it all spread out. Dining experience was 2hrs not by choice but speed of service. Several items were over salted and corn chips were too dense to eat. Few items were tasty but over the 15 items we order most were bland and not authentic as stated. I would have opted for other options knowing what were would have received. I would remove this from a Michelin Guide recommendation as ATX has a lot more better options
