   Our waitress was excellent. She knew all about the menu and guided us. The shared plate style was great.

   We met at La Condesa and tried a few things. The pork entree was OK - seasoning was good but it was really dry. guacamole was good. THe steak quesadilla was delicious. Wait staff was pretty negligent and not friendly and focused on flipping tables.

   I’ve been to La Condessa many times & always liked the food but this time is was genuinely mediocre. It was not a memorable meal and I definitely won’t be returning.

   Everything from the moment we arrived (they easily accommodated our early arrival and our request to change from outdoor seating to indoor seating), was friendly and professional. The waiter was able to answer our questions and make recommendations. The menu was not extensive but we prefer that a restaurant does a few things really well as opposed to lots with little quality. Two things that we would like to see change: noise level too much and waiter (not Mexican) and table cleaners (maybe Mexican) were noticeably from different ethnic backgrounds. It seemed hierarchical to us. The food and drink is were amazing!

   Delicious food! Highlights were tuna tostada, queso, sopes and chocolate pot de creme with banana ice cream.

   Outstanding food - we weren’t familiar with authentic Mexican food before visiting Austin and this could not have been a better intro.

    One of the most superb dining experiences we’ve had in Austin. Manny was our server and his customer service skills are on point, he offered suggestions on both drinks and the food and all suggestions were out of this world. We had the frozen margarita, the alma blanca and el cubico -I was very impressed with all, very delicious drinks. Then we had Los sopes de Barbacoa, Queso flameado and the Carne Asada, everything was deliciously outstanding. The quality of the food and drinks deserves a 5 stars for sure. Don’t hesitate go try it you won’t regret it.
