Travel down historic Market Street towards the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware and you will find La Fia Bistro. La Fia is an intimate dinner destination in a historic building located on the corner of 5th and Market. Chef Dwain Kalup's menu utlizes carefully sourced ingredients reflecting the seasons, local region and local farms. The menu at La Fia features small plates, pastas and creative entrees. Our cheese and charcuterie is one of a kind and not to be missed!

Due to the small size of our restaurant we allow 2 hours for guests to enjoy their dining experience. If you feel you need more time please reach out to us directly.

    Amazingly good food! Creative combination of flavors. Great service. A little noisy to my taste, but otherwise fantastic. Also, since I have food allergies, they went to great lengths to accommodate me. Always appreciated.

    Food and service were fantastic. Only issue we had was the restaurant is a bit small so it gets a bit loud and it gets a bit cold due to the large store front window

    Lauren, our server, did an excellent job guiding our decisions on what to order. She gave a very thorough description of the Parsnip Agnolotti and it did not disappoint. Very creative, nicely presented and delicious! The halibut was also very good and not overcooked. The smoked scallop special starter was fabulous and again not overcooked. I get so tired of overcooked fish. The chocolate dessert was amazing. Service attentive and friendly. Ambience very nice and comfortable. Look forward to going back!

    La Fia is one of favorite restaurants. We had a memorable and wonderful experience on New Year's Eve. The 4 course menu was varied and the food excellent. Our server, Diego, was superb and provided extremely attentive and unobtrusive service. The entire evening was most pleasurable and La Fia never fails to disappoint.

    As usual we had a wonderful dinner at LaFia…a perfect way to welcome in the new year. Each course of the prix fixe dinner was delicious and in some cases even remarkable. The service was friendly and accomplished…the ambiance cordial and welcoming. 2025 started off on just the right note thanks to LaFia.
