Situé au coin de 5th Street et North Market Street dans le quartier vivant de LOMA, La Fia est le premier restaurant à Wilmington de Bryan Sikora, le chef et propriétaire. This was one of our many visits to La Fia and they never let us down. Friendly staff amazing food and drinks and our server Lindsey who 99% of the time serves us is by far one of the best servers we have ever had anywhere. We are leaving the area soon to travel the country but will be back to enjoy again. On but wait, the valentines menu was out of this world!!!!!

La Fia is open for lunch now and we enjoyed a truly delish meal and excellent service from Jess! The tempura cauliflower, shrimp ceviche and fish and chips were all truly tasty! Can’t wait to go back!

Service a bit slow for a slow night. But probably understaffed due to weather. Food excellent. Never a bad meal here very convenient.

We had not been back to La Fia since Covid times and we’d nearly forgotten what a wonderful gem this place is. Absolutely lovely atmosphere, wonderful food, amazing cocktails. We’ve pledged to return on a regular basis!

What a great surprise La Fia turned out to be. We were seated at a quiet back table which we loved (it was date night). Our waitress Amy was very helpful and attentive even though she was pulling double duty as bar tender. She warned us about that which I really appreciated. I like a menu where the descriptions paint a picture of the food and really get you excited… this menu doesn’t do that. It is basic but clear. We ordered a couple of apps and a fish and pasta dish. The beef carpaccio had an amazing flavor profile with a perfect citrus hint. The fish and pasta were both amazing. Amy was great at helping pick wines to pair and even brought a couple of tastes to help. Overall it was an amazing meal. The menu did not do the chefs talents justice but that just left us dying to try the rest. We will definitely be back.

Another excellent meal at La Fia, this time with a friend who had long loved it when they lived in the area, but has since moved away. It was everything they remembered it to be, and as amazing as I always find it. Service was perfection, as always, and the cocktails can't be beat. The best.
