The rich woods and traditional decor of La Taverne welcomes guests to one of the most legendary steakhouses in Colorado. The airy Le Jardin Room brings the outdoors in and allows guests to dine among lush florals and a stunning 16-foot chandelier.

Savor the finest selection of hand-cut prime steaks, chops, and prime rib, along with an enticing array of options from our seafood bar. The Broadmoor Restaurant Collection procures only sustainable fish and seafood. Our Eagles Nest Ranch wagyu beef is raised exclusively for The Broadmoor at Eagles Nest Ranch.

Mingle with friends while enjoying a selection from our wine list or classic cocktails, complemented by fresh oysters from the Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf Coasts. The restaurant features a guitarist on Friday and Saturday from 6pm-9pm for our Guests enjoyment.

Steaks were tasty but not cooked at temps we ordered. Server was very attentive. The most disappointing part was we were sat across from the kitchen entrance on our anniversary dinner (we did have it noted on the reservstion).

Was very disappointed. We were lead to believe this was the top restaurant at the Broadmoor. Not even close, food was very bland service just a little bit later but very slow. Getting food was so slow we decided to get desert to go. After the waiter came back and saw we didn’t have our desert the 4th time we contemplated just leaving. Can’t recommend La Taverne, visit Del Lago across the pond instead. It has a great ambiance and great food.

Scallops were not thoroughly cooked - pink and cold in the center. Bison short ribs were cold when served, but we sent it back and they provided an appropriately warm replacement. The service was excellent. Food was extremely disappointing.

Was pretty disappointed overall. Food was bland. Nothing wrong with it - just lacked flavor. I will say however that the service was excellent !

Everything was wonderful. Food was exceptional as well as service. I ordered Caesar salad with Scallops as an entree with sides of crispy Brussel Sprouts , Toasted Cauliflower and truffle Parmeseam fries. All of it tasted exquisite. Don’t forget the desserts - I chose the Chocolate Royal which was very rich and delectable!

Was at the La Taverne - The Broadmoor, just after Christmas. Very nicely decorated. The meal, the service -everything- was outstanding. Truly excellent customer service.
