   As usual, very good service and food was excellent!! There were 6 of us, and the service was outstanding! Ordered a few appetizers to share, and all were delicious , especially the mussels!! Everyone was pleased with their entrees as well!!

   Laboratorio is our favorite restaurant in Montclair. Everything is outstanding: Food is delicious and generous portions. Reasonably priced. Service is fantastic. Great atmosphere

   I love this restaurant. Just had another wonderful meal here. Very reasonable prices for high quality delicious food—every time. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The scallops I had last night were the best I’ve ever eaten. Service and meal presentation are spot on. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this fav restaurant.

   Quite possibly the best ravioli I’ve ever had. The cauliflower purée that came with the seared scallops was heavenly. Excellent quality and presentation of food. I do wish they had a larger salad selection (I’m not one for fruit and nuts in salads). The menu is small but their daily specials are extensive (which indicates that the food is undoubtedly super fresh). I was taken aback by the noise level. This is no fault of the restaurant but the crowd was extremely loud. We had 4 people sitting next to us who legitimately screamed their way through the evening. Montclair has changed so much in the past few years. As a Montclairion, I am always happy to see a local independent business thrive. I suppose the rancor are part of its growing pains. Regardless, I would go back here again. The food is extremely well done and not too expensive. Our waiter was very good. Attentive but not overbearing.

   We were NY'ers attending a show in Montclair, NJ, and made a last minute reservation. As experienced consumers, we were duly surprised by the excellence of this little gem. Although we live 50 minutes and a bridge crossing from this restaurant, it was such an all round positive event, we will make the trip just for the restaurant. My husband is Italian...this food was exceptional, and the service was off the charts.

    The service was excellent. We had muscles to start, they were very good. Our main courses were delicious with good portions. Highly recommend this restaurant.
