Our $89 prix fixe tea service is offered Tuesday through Sunday.

Lady Mendl's is an unconventionally chic tea salon housed within a Georgian brownstone in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan. An opulent five-course tea is served in an eclectic and whimsical parlor by a doting staff. Patrons sip tea from hand culled vintage Wedgwood teacups as they nibble dainty finger sandwiches and house baked scones.

Please note that our entrance is only accessible via a staircase of 10 steps. We do not have an elevator.

Located within The Inn at Irving Place, Lady Mendl's is housed in a Victorian style salon. Our private parties can accommodate up to 65 guests for a seated event and 75 guests for a cocktail party. In addition, our martini lounge, Cibar, is located on the ground floor and can also be used for private events or combined with the Lady Mendl's Salon. We are a beautiful location for destination weddings, bridal or baby showers, cocktail parties, and corporate events. Please complete an inquiry on our website for specific pricing.

Union Square Station. Upon exiting the station, walk to 17th street and make a right. We are one block to the East of Park Avenue South at 17th and Irving Place. Only a small plaque stating "Lady Mendl's" marks the entrance to our brownstone.

English Breakfast
These medium sized leaves produce a copper liquid that has a bright and fragrant cup. The tea is smooth and full-bodied with a malty aftertaste that stands up to a splash of milk or lemon
Moroccan Mint Green
Transport yourself to a land of desert sands, caravans and palm tree filled oasis, with Moroccan Mint a delicious blend of spearmint and green tea. The green tea unfurls into large leaves, with a pale ecru cup and a strong minty flavor
Creamy Toasted Coconut - Oolong
This delightfully light tea brews to an ecru color and has the taste of baked goodies with an undertone of an earthly oolong. The rich exotic aroma is accompanied by the smooth, delicious taste of coconut macaroon with vanilla accents
Wonderland Rooibos (Decaf)
A wonderful blend of green rooibos with cacao and cinnamon and flavored with Bavarian chocolate, cinnamon and hazelnuts. It brews to a golden cup with the delicious aroma and taste of cinnamon baked goodies
Luscious Lemon (Decaf)
A lemony blend that combines organic lemon peel, organic lemongrass, organic lemon balm, and lemon verbena with natural lemon flavor

Located in an exquisitely decorated townhouse on Irving Place, we had a delicious several course afternoon tea served by wonderful attentive waiters and waitresses. It is a fantastic way to connect with friends or celebrate a special occasion.

I went there with my wife for the Valentine's Day event that included six decadent little meals (salad, soup, finger sandwiches, scones, cake) paired with a delightful assortment of teas. It was wonderful, and so was the experience, which included a live violinist. Top notch!

Best place for high tea in NYC! The staff was so attentive and professional. The food was delicious. It’s such a beautiful way to spend the afternoon.

It was absolutely terrific! Tea was great and food was delicious. My only criticism is that I wish they would let you custom pick your sandwiches. No one in my party likes smoked salmon and there were several others we would have preferred more of.

Four of us visited Lady Mendl's for tea while on a girls' theater trip. Our experience was delightful, from the minute we arrived. Our train heading to NYC had been delayed and we did not have time to drop off our bags at our hotel before heading to our reservation. The hostess was extremely accommodating and understanding about storing our bags for us. The experience was positively wonderful - the teas were all delicious. We started with potato and leek soup that was outstanding. The variety and quality of the tea sandwiches was top notch, the scones were beyond delicious, and the desserts were excellent. The server was efficient and very knowledgeable about everything she served, and made us feel at home. This was truly a two hour delight!

The service was superb. The food was just okay. The vibes and tea were great as well. I recommend this bougie tea time.

Such a fun afternoon! This hidden gem has the best scones and the most impeccable service! Super cozy and elegant but relaxed. We had a lovely time!

The venue is quaint and feels like you are visiting a friend's home who has exquisite chinaware! If you are legit tea lover, the experience is amazing as you get to experience the various aromatic flavors. Really an oasis in the midst of a busy Manhattan vibe. Perfect place of conversation!
