Franco and Noe Landini are the proud hosts of Landini Brothers restaurant. Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, and close to the Potomac River, Landini Brothers is a well-established landmark in Northern Virginia. It has been serving northern Italian food in the traditional Tuscan style since it opened in 1976. Franco's annual visits to his family and friends in Tuscany provide him with ample opportunity to learn about the latest advances in Tuscan cuisine—knowledge he brings home for the dining pleasure of restaurant guests.     Food was good, but seems expensive (what doesn't these days?!) Also, felt like our server disappeared for a while, once we were done with the main and ready to contemplate dessert. Good experience, but was hoping for a bit more I guess.

    Landini's has always been one of our favorite places to go until last night. We decided to take some friends of ours with us to our "favorite" restaurant. Our reservations were for 7:30 and we waited for 45 minutes before we were seated. The manager did offer to buy us a round of drinks which we appreciated but still -- I mean 45 minutes! Then our food was sub[par. My husband's meal was dry and our friend's meal had little to no sauce. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

    Great food, short ribs were really good along with the egg noodles. The server could have been a little more attentive but it was great time.

    The food was excellent! It is a shame the service did not maych the food quality. It seemed fo be an off night but we were extremely disappointed in the service. Our bread service was delivered without any offer for butter or olive oil, etc. Our drinks took exceptionally long to arrive. The food arrived in an appropriate time however, we were left without any server to request additional cheese or red pepper, etc. i do not want to not recommend as the food was excellent. My wife had lobster and pasta with a marinara sauce and i had tortellini stiff with veal and cream sauce. Both were perfectly cooked. I woukd try again but we were passing through. Hopefully your seevice experience will be better than ours.
