Restaurants near Calgary Zoo

A Thursday night was a good time. Steady and not packed. Food was good but not overwhelmingly delicious. We had the squid which was the best dish of the night. The curry linguine was good although it had too many sprouts. The Thai noodle dish was also good but fairly spicy. We will go again and try other food.

The service from the hostess stand to the server were outstanding as always. The food is always tasty and consistent at Barbarella no matter what you order. I appreciate suggestions or alternatives from the wait staff. They always know how to make the food next level.

I had a lovely birthday celebration here with my family. When we got to the table, I was welcomed with a cute birthday card signed by the staff. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. Only downside was that we found our area to be slightly too loud in terms of crowd noise. But overall a wonderful experience. Definitely a must when in Calgary

The food at ten foot Henry has always been consistent and is always delicious every time we come and we’ve been coming here for yearssssss. We tried two new to us dishes as we always order our usual ones and they were both pretty good!! We had the Henry salad, tomatoes and sourdough, spaghetti, the chicken and butterscotch pudding. We were happy with all of our choices. The service was amazing - from the hostess to our server. They were so accommodating to my requests and I look forward to my next visit.

This was a surprise. It is a well established place, but nailing that tomahawk to perfection was a hugely welcoming surprise. Best tomahawk ever, and not only in Calgary. I guess four day marinading and other magic must take place, still we treasured every bite. Broccolini and mushrooms were great as the sides; stake tartar was perfectly balanced; the salmon crudo had a beautifully balanced marinade but was a touch off. The tying part for it was Tasha, she was fantastic, full of energy, leaving us with the image of our new best place to go to! Thank you all.
