Restaurants near Village Shopping Center

It was a holiday and lots of people, but they got us to our table at the time of our reservation. The wait staff was friendly (and very busy!) and handled our order in a timely manner. The food was excellent. One in our party had the turkey dinner, but the rest of us leaned into their specialties. We had prime rib and steak, and it wasn’t hard to polish off. We had dessert and coffee and the bill was very reasonable for what we received.

We used to eat here often before covid. We did take outs often after covid. We were shopping for a new car across the street in the auto mall and decided to stop here and have lunch. We both had lobster rolls. A new item just added to the menu last week. It was delicious, lots of lobster chucks with delicious small chopped veges in a tasty grilled toasted half spited thick bread. It comes with fries. Which was freshly fried with herbs. It's a very yummy and satisfying lunch.

What a nice hidden gem! The food pictures on-line lured us in. We read some reviews on Open Table, drove up from the Bay Area to see friends, and the four of us decided to try it. Very happy we did. The steaks, the salad, the meat loaf, the soup, the shrimp appetizers, and the libations were all very good too. If we had one complaint, it would be a small one: the music was little too loud. We all were wishing that it was more background music, so we wouldn't have to lean across the table to talk with each other. That said, we'll still be back. The service was great, and the food was Oh So Good! Great job Bennett's Kitchen!!

Honestly it was fantastic. The problem was they were short staffed. Our waiter did his best but was spread to thin. The manager was also helpful. Food was supposed to be split but they didn’t but they made the modifications for our requests. All in all very solid and enjoyable. The manager explaining the tequila was the highlight!

This is a great location for a quiet meal catching up with friends. Outdoor area is lovely when temps allow. Great service every time. We are never rushed.
