Our recent experience at RH Ocean Grill in Newport Beach was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived for our 11:30 AM reservation (made seamlessly on OpenTable), the restaurant impressed at every turn. Though the demand was evident with many walk-in diners hoping for a table, we were promptly seated as planned, setting the tone for a perfect dining experience. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Before we could even think about requesting a drink refill, one was already on the way. The staff was kind, efficient, and detail-oriented, ensuring every moment was effortless and enjoyable. The food? Simply divine. Each dish was a masterpiece. We started with the crispy artichokes paired with golden potato rounds—perfectly seasoned, delightfully crunchy, and a wonderful way to awaken the palate. The mini lobster rolls with caviar were easily the best we’ve ever had: tender, buttery lobster nestled in perfectly toasted rolls, with the delicate saltiness of the caviar adding the ideal finishing touch. For the main course, the wagyu ribeye was a standout. Expertly grilled, it featured a tender, flavorful interior with a stunning crust, sliced thinly for effortless enjoyment. The arugula salad with sweet grapes and shaved Parmesan was a refreshing, vibrant complement to the richness of the steak—a balanced and thoughtful pairing. Not to be overlooked, the atmosphere at RH Ocean Grill is as breathtaking as the menu. With its panoramic views, dining feels like a serene escape above the clouds. My husband had Colette Steak with small double baked potatoes. He even ate the veggies. I tasted his everything and we both thought it was delicious!! I had the panko coconut crusted cod with pineapple chutney... it was so good. The tropical ice tea and the Paradise cocktail is a winner. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very attentive!! Seating is outside so we saw people with their dogs which was sweet and the atmosphere is like eating in the garden. Reservations recommended!!

We loved everything about Ocean 48. Everything about it was amazing—the ambiance, the food, and our waiter too. He was a wealth of information on menu items and steering us in the right direction with our order. What a beautiful restaurant!

Love this place ... just ONE issue ... The portions have shrunk considerably (re Steak and Sushi entree). I never scoffed at the $37 price tag for this wonderful dish because there was always so much and it was worth every penny for the leftovers I always had ... But now ... Yikes. Less than half of the steak and much smaller sushi portions make it questionable for a nearly $40 price. Hummus and apple pie were stellar.

There for the Bills watch party. Good seat. Great service. Breakfast pizza was very good. Bloody Mary ENORMOUS. TIM Horton coffee great!
