Not noisy but has a really good vibe. Alex the owner REALLY knows how to run a restuarant and meet and greet and take care of customers. - JJonelleAustin •12 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI recently had the pleasure of dining at City Post in Georgetown, Texas, to celebrate our anniversary, and I must say, it was an experience that elevated our celebration to new heights! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance set the stage for a memorable evening. The service was impeccable - our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure our evening was nothing short of spectacular. They recommended dishes that didn't disappoint, and their enthusiasm for the menu was infectious. Now, let's talk about the food! The steaks were phenomenal - cooked to perfection with a rich, flavorful char that only a true steakhouse can achieve. The quality of the meat was evident in every bite, making it a highlight of our meal. However, the star of the show for us was the Lobster Mac and Cheese. This dish was an absolute revelation! The creamy, cheesy sauce, combined with chunks of succulent lobster, created a harmony of flavors that was both comforting and luxurious. Celebrating our anniversary at City Post made the occasion truly special. The combination of excellent service, a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, and, of course, the outstanding food, made for an evening we'll cherish for years to come. Highly recommend City Post for anyone looking to add a touch of gourmet to their celebrations or simply for a night out that promises to be unforgettable. Whether it's the steaks, the Lobster Mac and Cheese, or any other dish on their menu, you're in for a treat. Thank you, City Post, for making our anniversary dinner one for the books!More infoCity Post ChophousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Georgetown•4.8

- SSherylvipAustin •9 reviews4.0Dined on Sep 20, 2024We didn't know what to expect. We had a reservation on the patio on a hot summer evening. It was also our 33rd anniversary. I don't think the seating agent ever reads notes like special occasions. But we were sat and got service. But what was annoying was the amount of people vaping around us--at least three tables in this really cute/nice patio. The food was fine--not very large portions. We had two appetizers and thought we would split the burger and for a double meat burger, there just wasn't much to it, much less toppings... it was good, but just not much to it. We also had a couple of drinks from the menu. They were refreshing and good. Overall, it was comfortable, temperature wise. Service could have been little more personable.More infoGolden RulePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Georgetown•4.5
