- DDougSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe celebrated our son’s graduation from naval chaplaincy school here. Everything was wonderful! Our server was so friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We had a corner table with a great view of the water. There were quite a few other groups in our area, so the noise level did rise a bit, but we could still have comfortable conversation. At the end of our meal, our server brought a card to our son, signed by the staff, congratulating him on his accomplishment! I definitely recommend The Mooring for any occasion!More infoThe Mooring RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Newport•4.7

- MMichaelvipGreater Boston •11 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 1, 2024I’m a local , attend the Reef often for brunch and dinner in all seasons throughout the year . Mostly we enjoy it - last night was a little off . Ambience was off - bright lights / all table party’s crammed next to each other even though there were open tables throughout the restaurant . The food was off / first was told no lobster tails / then told they found some - found some ? And they were dark in color and not great . The statler chicken was good and always a tasty staple - but sweet potatoes were cold not cooked all the way . I thought our waitress was very good even though our coffee was forgotten . I don’t usually mind paying a price if it’s worth it last night was not a great night at the Reef .More infoThe ReefPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Newport•4.3
