Delicious, creative food, and excellent, attentive service!

First of all, loved the hidden entrance by the ice cream shop. After entering the bar, we were greeted by very friendly staff and amazing ambience. The cocktails were expertly presented and tasted amazing! My friend and I sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the bartender make different cocktails while listening to him explain the Costa Rican influences/flavors of the drink. The food tasted great! We split the burrata and beef ribs for our main meals and had the Cas pie for dessert. These choices did not disappoint!! Lastly, the ambience and atmosphere was great. We came right when it opened so the vibe was chill. The decor was minimalistic but had pops of color which I loved! I definitely recommend sitting at the bar. As the night went on, the music did get louder and flashing colored lights came on. Because we expected this from reading previous comments, we didn’t mind. But definitely something to consider if you’re not looking for a party vibe. Or you can come early and leave before the party starts! Overall, I recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and cocktails in monteverde!

This was such a beautiful place to eat dinner. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The food tasted amazing! Great overall!

The setting is lovely with both an outside patio with heaters and an open plan indoors with a gorgeous fire and bar at one end and open kitchen at the other all decorated in Costa Rican furniture . Food was excellent but if you order steak ask for a a certain cook. Medium is the equivalent of medium rare. Staff were attentive but after San Lucas it was hard to give them a fiver. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Took a shot in the dark going here. I must say, it was amazing. We had the seabass with coconut lemongrass sauce, omg! blew us away, it was fantastic. The cafe’ Rica, similar to an affogato, was the stand out dessert we tried. It’s important to note all sauces and recipes are created in house and from scratch using ingredients close by. Five star dining!
